Membership

Membership of the Adelphi Genetics Forum is open to all who share the Forum’s aims. Life membership costs a one-off payment of £20, with a reduction to £10 for students and retired.

Members receive the Adelphi Review free of charge.

New members are admitted as life Members or Fellows, depending on qualifications; Members may be appointed to Fellowship on making a significant contribution to the Forum’s aims and activities.

Only Fellows may be elected to Council or hold offices within the Forum.

The Forum promotes and supports the scientific exploration of all aspects of human heredity through:

  • Education and communication with all interested individuals and groups.
  • Stimulating and informing public debate on the social and ethical implications and relevance to human well-being.
  • The study and understanding of its historical origins and development.
